Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Term Time - Special Needs Position
Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide 1 to 1 support at our primary school at Holborough Lakes. This is a temporary contract, linked to High Needs funding, which will be reviewed by March 2021.
Salary: 25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, starting at £9,998 and paid within the VIAT 2 grade, pro rata to full-time equivalent of £17,943 - £18,440 per annum.
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible and adaptable, have experience of working within a primary school setting supporting pupils with additional needs and will have a calm and positive approach to working with children. Our pupil would like to be supported by someone who is "fun, kind and nice.". You will work collaboratively with the Class Teacher, SENCO and outside agencies (including Specialist Teaching Service, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy) to plan, deliver and review provision for the pupil that you will be supporting.
