Three of our Year 5 pupils decided to raise money by holding a sale on the green. The girls raised £32 which they used to purchase items for the local food bank. Working together they selected long life items and added up the costs. What a lovely gesture from our pupils! pic.twitter.com/R91A3St8aN

Great news following Ofsted Inspection

Following an Ofsted ungraded (Section 8) inspection on 30 and 31 January this year, we're delighted to announce that our school has retained its Good grading. Also,the evidence gathered by the inspector suggested that the grade might be outstanding if a graded (section 5) inspection was carried out now, so we are expecting another inspection within the next 13 months. 

Thanks to everyone at Holborough Lakes for their hard work and invaluable efforts which resulted in a very positive outcome!

The report stated:

‘Pupils flourish at this warm and inviting school.’

‘The school is passionate about helping all pupils to achieve their best. Trusting and caring relationships exist among staff and pupils.’

‘Behaviour across the school is exemplary and learning in lessons is rarely disrupted.’
