Trip to Knole Park
On Wednesday 26 November, Years 3 and 4 visited Knole Park to learn about the Stone Age. They were blessed with such a beautiful day, cold but sunny. This meant we were able to take a walk around the grounds to look at the giant trees and use tools to measure their age. Luckily they also managed to spot some beautiful deer and even a stag!
The workshops were led by able staff who used artefacts to show us what the Stone Age people ate and wore. There were a lot of hands-on activities, including bow drilling, cave painting and flour making. They learnt so much to add to their current topic work in school.
Both classes had a wonderful time and they all arrived back at school exhausted!
